  • How to update a menu on multiple pages?
    We added the ability to update multiple HTML pages automatically, here is the detailed tutorial - Sitewide updates of static pages.
    Another way is to save HTML in external JS file. You can embed HTML code into JS. So you will need only to link to JS (and CSS) from each HTML page.
  • Should I receive a download link after a payment?
    No. All you need is your Order ID (Avangate reference:12345678) and email. Use them to register your domain(s) in Swimbi app. Don't forget to publish and update menu scripts on your server after registration.
  • Why I still see the register button?
    Make sure you have registered menu scripts on your server.
    - During publication you should see your website domain name in the top right corner of the Preview window, that pops up when you click Publish button. If you see Unregistered or wrong domain name, click on the name to change it.
    swimbi domain name - After publication you need to update your menu scripts in the menu_files folder. To make sure you have correct file on your server, open your page in View Source Code mode in a browser (usually Ctrl+U, or Cmd+Alt+U on MacOS), click on the "menu_files/swimbi.js" script. You should see the registered domain name or Unregistered in the first line after the version number.

  • How your system checks my menu/domain registration? Does Swimbi menu connecting with your server each time?
    No.
    1. Swimbi app connects with our system only once when you register a domain.
    2. During publication Swimbi adds a special token in the menu script, signifying whether the menu is unregistered or registered for particular domain.
    3. Starting on your server, the menu scripts compares the token with actual domain name. If they don't match you'll see the register button.
    To get rid of the button you can add backlink or register.
  • What if I have several domains pointing to the same website?
    1) You need to register all domains, one by one. 2) Enable "Multi Domain Publication" (SWIMBI UI => Publication tab =>Multi Domain Publication). 3) Then you will be able to select all domains in the domain name drop down list

  • The register license is life time or need to pay for every year for renewal?
    It is lifetime. You just register a domain and forget about any time limits or limits of updates, designs, features etc. We charge only for publication per website/domain.
  • How can I add a search field to the menu bar?
    We will add the search feature in future version.
    (The search is added in version 1.9.0)
    For now you can add any search field in the menu HTML code.
